YAY LOTS OF FOOOOD! Actually, this time I DIDN'T get sick eating too much cranberry sauce, 'cause there was barely enough for everyone to have one serving. >.<>

I HUNG OUT WITH ZAK LAST WEEKEND IT WAS AMAZING!! Well, since I've been procrastinating, it was a couple weekends ago. BUT IT WAS STILL AMAZING! He hung out in town with a buncha peoples and we went to SRS and the Co-op and the sculpture thingy at the college. Though, he said he would Skype me after he got home AND HE NEVER HAS!! *coughcoughskypemecoughcough*

I finally watched White Christmas last night with my mom. All the girls wearing dresses compelled me to go put on the only skirt I own, which I wore my marching band shoes with. :)

Did you know that people say "bless you" because people used to think that when you sneezed you sneezed out your soul?

Christmas is on it's way and...I have no idea what I want. "Oh Lemon," you might say. "How could you not know what you want for Christmas?" But I really don't. I haven't really focused on it much this year. I guess I want a camera, but it's uber 'spensive so I doubt I'll get it. I'll just make a list of stuff I should want, I guess... I just found out I can "like" things on Facebook FROM MY PHONE.

Ah, let's see what's happened recently. Last weekend, I saw Picasso From the Lapin Agile. Brilliant, and hilarious, and wonderful. Kalev, you were a great old guy. I HAFTA PEE! :) There was also the DVYMO (Delaware Valley Young Musicians Orchestra) concert, which was so much fun. I didn't screw up at all, and I even got a compliment on my drum-setting for Les Miserables. ^_^

ZAK'S GONNA BE HERE THIS WEEKEND! YAAAY! Cept I/he screwed up and now the plan we were gonna do for hanging out with him won't work, so we hafta change things around, which is frustrating.. Soo glad he's coming though, I know I've missed him.

Turkey Day tomorrow! Otherwise known as Thanksgiving, this day is when I can eat loads of delicious food while making TWSS jokes with my cousins and getting sick eating too much cranberry sauce..ah, the holidays.. Did I mention it's a four day weekend, too?

I've been a lot more into singing, lately. Dunno why. Not like going into a huge crowd of people and bolting out some Broadway song, but singing along with my iPod or the radio. Not in front of people, of course. I have such horrible stage fright. I contemplated trying out for Glee Club, but I have no idea whether the auditions are already long gone, I only overheard Rachel talking about 'em. According to some people, I have a good singing voice, but I'm not sure...

I went to a Combust band practice last weekend. T'was pretty freakin' AWESOME! They played through all their songs, including their new song, The Underground, and it was loud and amazing and musically brilliant. Ian and I annoyed everyone by being annoying drummer people, and I ate a piece of apple, and found an AMAZING SONG (thank you Ian) and almost stole Ian's stairs.

This Saturday is the DVYMO concert! We're gonna be pretty professional and have our concert at a college, and dress up all fancy, and play classical music....for our parents. :D I'm playing drum set for Les Miserables, with the awesomest song for a barfight.

Just Bust A Move!

I have lotsa books. Not like an Immy-size collection, but a fairly good amount.

Oh, and Beanie Babies. Lots and lots of Beanie Babies. Grandparents are awesome that way.

Staying the theme of words starting with "b," band just ended. Bittersweet, yes, but muuuch less painful. We still have some practices (we have the band showcase in December) and the last parade tomorrow. During school. OH YEAH.

I put some lights up in my room. They look pretty.

Harry Potter's been an obsession of mine for the past...3 years? I was a Harry-Hermione shipper, 'til I read the 6th book. I almost cried when I finished reading the sixth book and realized I had already turned 11 and my letter from Hogwarts didn't come. I played the game "Bellatrix" with Kell and Laur in middle school, where one person would be Bellatrix and come after the other two, looking for the prophecy. It was a slightly unhealthy obsession. :)

I made a sock-snowman in elementary school. We drew on his eyes, mouth, and buttons with a black marker, and stuck a piece of orange pipe cleaner in his face to make his carrot nose. He ahs a red ribbon scarf and a pink pom-pom on his head for his hat. I think I made it outa my dad's sock..Ew.

BOOOO CHILDREN! HALLOWEEN WAS LAST NIGHT!! OOOOOOOH!

Yeah, it was pretty awesome. Everyone went over Alexa's to party it up and eat candy and jam on the piano. Only downside? Pouring rain. Almost the whole time we were trick-or-treating. Soaked us all through, but luckily Betty Ann was there, armed with her paper towels, ready to help dry us off. I went out as a hockey player, unfortunately without a Flyers jersey. I had to make do with a Sharks jersey, which all the guys at Alexa's (i.e. Dan & Gabe) disliked me for wearing. :P

Most interesting part of the night: An hour-long bout of Spin the Bottle, featuring Rachel! (who loves everyone) ((including gay people)) Thankfully, I was excluded from the game (thank ye greatly, Tazeen), and just hung out laughing at everyone "neck kissing" and seeing Dan almost pee himself when he spun.

Worst Part of the Day: Two parades. In the rain. Right after each other. >.<>

Homecoming was uber fun! I waited with Isa till the end of the line (cause she's a forgetful cripple who forgot her ticket) and we got breathalyzed and everything and went in. Then we found all the people there and started DAAANCING! Well, sorta. I'm a crappy dancer, so I just sorta swayed back and forth and sang to the songs I know. But then I got sick during the middle of the dance and it kinda botched what was left of it, but it wasn't too bad.

The game on Friday (that couldave killed us all with coldness) was cancelled, so I finally had a Friday night to reeelllaaaxxx on. But then everyone I could've hung out with WENT TO THE GAME ANYWAYS. >.<>

Popular Culture No Longer Applies To Me

Hey all my extremely patient followers, here I am. :D Technically I'm procrastinating from homework, but I still have after dinner.

My parent's completely upped their awesomeness level ten-fold by getting a FLAT SCREEN TV! It's schweeeet and I'm totally hosting the next Movie Night.

Talking about nights/days, the last Tag Day was AWESOME. Lotsa peoples came, like Rachel and Kelly, and we actually had FOOD this time. Too much food. I brought home at least 5 things. And some yummy chips...nom nom nom.

Homecoming Game tomorrow! If it isn't cancelled that is.. Since there's going to be a NOR'EASTER. >.<>

Ah, the glory of high school. I've already seen it's magical powers of taking away any free time you thought you might have. >.<

Such as marching band. Even though I love it dearly, it's still sucking up all my afternoons and Friday nights. The games are AWESOME though. It's like a special high for band geeks. At least until you can't fall asleep because your ears are still ringing.

I've been debating with myself whether I want to go to the homecoming dance or not. The only turnoff that I'm really worried about is all the upperclassmen that'll be there. (I heard the grinding's really bad in the middle of the dance floor.) Oh, and I can't dance. At all. You'd think a drummer could dance well, but...ugh. It's pretty bad. Some people really want me to go, though, or else they won't go and blah blah blah. I'll probably end up going. (I like my dress, after all.)

You guys should go out and get the Hello Fascination album by Breathe Carolina. It's a mix of electronica and screamo, which doesn't sound like a good idea, but it sounds really kewl. :)

I've been obsessively watching this show, Being Human, on BBC, AND ITS AAAWESOME! It's about a vampire, ghost and werewolf living together and trying to stop a vampire revolution and it jsut got really horrible and aaaahhhh!!!!

Band camp is so exhausting. Everything HURTS. But it's so worth it, cause the songs are fun to play and snare is the best position and percussion is the kewlest and it's just AWESOME. We're playing two songs so far, not including candences:

Steve Howe is the greatest guitarist ever (sowwy Davie) even though he's SO OLD! HE just KEPT GOING though, playing with BOTH Asia and Yes.

Asia isn't half bad, though they're trying to combine too many bands' sounds. They have this bassist who sings (RUSH) Steve on guitar (Yes) Palmer on keyboard (Emerson, Lake, and Palmer) and this crazy drummer guy that got on my nerves. He kept doing flips and pointing to the crowd and banging so hard on the drums I thought they might break. NO NEED TO EMPHASIZE DUDE WE CAN CLEARLY SEE YOU'RE PLAYING THE DRUMS.

Yes was absolutely incredible. The singer wasn't their original singer (who was off in Europe touring) but this Canadian guy from Montreal. I thought he wouldn't sound the same, but it was kinda uncanny how their voices sound alike. He was short like the singer is, and pranced around in his vest and blousey shirt thing, and played his tambourine like there's no tomorrow. The bassist (an original band member) had his long white hair, and his big poofy blue shirt, and was swaying along with the music as his FAN blew his hair around. :D Steve was, well, Steve. I'll link to a picture of him at the end of this post. He didn't move around that much, but you could see his hands playing his guitar just so insanely fast....WOW. The keyboardist was another non-original band member, who I THINK is the SON of the original keyboardist. And the drummer had a HUGE (though not as big as Neil Peart's) DRUMSET. BIG MAMMA JAMMA. And his solo was great too. :)

I just recently started watching this BBC show called Torchwood. OH MY HOLY CRAP ITS SO DAMN TERRIFYING! Aliens and evil government and British accents and and and AH.

Zak's party was pretty awesome, being able to run around in an almost completely empty house. And when Sophie overflowed the toilet...and the box game...and tag....yeah. It was fun. BUT THERE'S A LIMIT OF GETTING ON MY LAST FRICKEN NERVE. You know who I'm talking about. Just cut it out.

Ugh. Here we go again. Just like last time. Rupert (Carl) is going out with someone. :( And of course, he tells me this during our conversation of who I like. Then I tell him I like him the next day. And it's awkward, and it sucks, and I'm back where I started. I start to wonder why I even bother anymore. But there's no stopping feelings so...blah. Though I swear, if this happens again I'm gonna scream. :(

I guess I shouldn't be complaining; so many more people have it so much worse than me. But I'm finally starting to have real feelings for guys, and it never works. Last time with Bob was my fault for waiting so long, and then missing my chance, but I honestly thought I might have a chance this time. Rupert had broken up with his girlfriend pretty soon after school ended, and I thought he would wait longer before going out again. He even said so himself. But then he suddenly comes out with this.

And really? KT? Where did she come from? I mean, I knew they were friends, but I guess I didn't know how close they were. O.o

I had OH SO MUCH FUN in town today with my buddies!! We went into the woods and ate donuts and rode bikes and climbed trees and watched fire. I was kinda distracted though..:/

I'm kinda wondering what my cousin is thinking right now... He's British and he's in our country right now, so I'm wondering if it's awkward for us to be celebrating getting rid of the British...O.o

I GOT A NEW BIKE!!!

It's Giant brand and a "comfort" bike, even though it acts like a street bike. It's soooooooooooo much better than my old bike, cause that one was from Toys R Us, and the gear shifter hated me. AND IT'S BLUE!!
