Ah, the glory of high school. I've already seen it's magical powers of taking away any free time you thought you might have. >.<

Such as marching band. Even though I love it dearly, it's still sucking up all my afternoons and Friday nights. The games are AWESOME though. It's like a special high for band geeks. At least until you can't fall asleep because your ears are still ringing.

I've been debating with myself whether I want to go to the homecoming dance or not. The only turnoff that I'm really worried about is all the upperclassmen that'll be there. (I heard the grinding's really bad in the middle of the dance floor.) Oh, and I can't dance. At all. You'd think a drummer could dance well, but...ugh. It's pretty bad. Some people really want me to go, though, or else they won't go and blah blah blah. I'll probably end up going. (I like my dress, after all.)

Mother beckons, so I must leave for now. I'll probably post again soon, since this little post doesn't make up for me neglecting posting for so long.

Band Camp is Satan.

Seriously. I was stupid enough to forget to put on sunscreen yesterday and I'm burnt on my arms, legs, face, and neck. Of course, it's only on half of me, cause drumline doesn't really change position. And neither does the sun. Sorry, right half of my body. >.<>

We've learned practically the whole field show for Friday. Robin Hood, I Don't Care, Echano. I like all the songs, except Echano. Which would be really awesome (since it's the drum feature) but THEY HAVE IT WAAAAAAAAAAY TOO FAST! I CAN BARELY DO THE BACKSTICKING!

I can play the cadence now! But of course, as soon as I'm able to, they stupid seniors demote me to the back of the snare line with the other freshmen. >.<>

Ah, well. It'll be done it 2 days anyway.
